Jen says she was the victim of domestic violence and suffers from mental illness. She says she enrolled in “The Better Living Program” in Denver, to get help. She said they were paid from her Medicaid. The rest of her story sounds unbelievable!

Jen claims she was in a residential program and the residents in the home would openly drink liquor and smoke fentanyl. She said as part of the program, residents were given spending money that they used to buy the liquor and drugs. She says when she started complaining about these conditions, she was kicked out!

One of our deputies, “D”, contacted The Better Living Program and they said Jen must be mistaken because they do not offer any “in resident” programs. They said all of their help is exclusively through online counseling.

Jen said she could’ve gotten the name of the program wrong because the operators kept changing their program name. We told her we could not help her until she got us their current name.
