MISC “AROUND THE HOUSE”

She is calling for a neighbor. On October 27th someone knocked on his door and he ended up buying 10 DaBella windows for $48K. Tristian was the salesperson.

They have a Vivant home security system (installed in June) and they want to get out of the contract. They say they can’t afford the monthly payments. A sales rep (James) was going door to door.

Moved into a new LGI Home in March 2022 and has had many problems.

Selling his house in Pueblo and used Groundworks to lift a slab. On Sep 9 he paid $1,300 deposit. Then he decided to cancel and they will not return the deposit.

Discount Bath

He has a Waste Management dumpster and wants to cancel it but he said the “window” for cancellation makes it very difficult.

Had new shower installed. issues w/ installation of Jacuzzi tub so she called company Midwest Bath to have them come out and look at it. they say the design is wrong. they said they would create a ticket.

His mother-in-law hired a contractor (Impact, Louise Rodriguez) through a government program (Larimer Housing Improvement Plan – Ft Collins) to get a 0% loan (no monthly due on sale). Scope: front door, siding, paint, windows. Right now the work is poor quality and incomplete (50%). Rodriguez has been paid $30K out of $35K.

In May, 2024 hired Hello Garage of South Denver (Andy McCune) for a garage floor coating on her new garage’s floor. They re-did it in May, 2025, under warranty. Now it is peeling again.

Hired American Bath Solutions (Peter Cumplido) on 8/1, paid $18K up front (on a $24K contract) for renovating a master bath. So far nothing has been done.
