April 2024 – purchased a GE profile combo washer dryer along with extended warranty. last wednesday tech said they ordered pump. supposed to be installed today. but yesterday he gets a call that motherboard didn’t come in and would have to install next week.
problem w/ Action Appliance. fridge was icing up. put parts in and charged $400. a week later fridge icing over again. said she needed two censors.
Mom bought a new Samsung washing machine for $899 in 2022 from Appliance Factory Outlet, with their Extended Warranty. When she recently made a claim for repairs, AFO’s warranty said they will not repair it but instead offered $350 toward a new machine.
Washing machine was smoking. Called Sears Home Services, paid $700 for parts and labor ($300 of $700), got parts, but now Sears keeps delaying.
Went to Lowe’s for appliances. When they were arrived, they were too big. She asked them to put her old appliances back, while she gets the right size appliances. They refused and left with her old appliances and left the new appliances. She went back to Lowe’s and they already scrapped her old appliances.
