Mobile Home Blues!

Betty has lived in a mobile home park for 48-years. Under new ownership, they changed water meters. Betty’s meter was originally put under her entry stairs, so they wanted to charge her for installation. She refused and they threatened to evict her. She went to “Poverty Law” and they wrote trailer park management a letter stopping any eviction. Now, the trailer park needs to move her entry stairs to do the meter installation. She believes they should do the installation without moving her stairs.

It is our opinion (not legal in nature) that management is trying to accommodate her with reasonable measures to keep costs down. We recommended that she lets them move her stairs.
