On Nov 23rd son borrowed 2024 GMC diesel and it had a problem in Wyoming and he took it to a GM dealer in Cheyenne. They say it is a valve body in the transmission.

She and her husband bought a 2006 Subaru Outback, with 150K miles, December 30th. Her son drove it to Kansas and the engine failed. They bought a warranty for $2K. They warranty will only cover $3,500. Two shops quoted around $15,000.
