2010 Chevy Cobalt needs a transmission rebuilt. Costs?

2008 Chevy HHR, ABS antilock valve modulator went bad. He needs to find another one but they’re no longer made.

He did a monthly subscription with Take 5 Car Wash where you pay a monthly fee for unlimited car washes. His wife did one too. His wife canceled her subscription but they charged he the next month. She complained and they credited her. She then called her bank and had a stop put on it.

On Jan 2nd rented a Hyundai Kona from Enterprise to drive to Palm Springs. Drove it to his trailer home in California. He said he lost his brakes and he crashed into a fence post. Reported it to Enterprise.

He ordered 3 OEM re-furbished wheels from Wheels America (with exchange). He has a lifetime warranty. Now he is experiencing what looks like crazing. We looked at the warranty and it excludes all forms of road rash.

On March 15th he bought a 2020 GMC Sierra Pickup from O’Mera and paid $6,900 for a powertrain warranty (Assurant). He has a 6.20 liter engine and recently experienced a serious misfire. An independent shop says the engine is shot. Assurant denied coverage because it was during the mandatory ” 90-waiting period”.
