Aug 18th went to Long Island and reserved an Avis rental car thru Costco. He declined extra insurance because he had his own coverage. Car would not start, had it jumped. Stalled again. He requested Car towed back to rental agency. They got him a replacement. Then he got a letter stating he owed more than $1,000 for the tow.
